Well folks, my life is in complete transition again!
Maybe you were with me a few months ago when I drove across the United States, and although I wont be doing that again anytime soon, I am headed to South America in the very near future. Yay!
With this transition comes a whole lot of spectacular uncertainty. In fact, this is probably the most uncertain I’ve been about everything in my life… ever.
I’m feeling liberated.
But that’s not how I always felt about life uncertainty…
In the past I spent a lot of years chasing degrees, jobs and relationships I thought would create some sense of certainty and security in my life. But here’s the truth (and of course you don’t have to believe me):
Life is uncertain. No matter how many degrees you have, or how much money you have, or if you have the bond of a marriage, there’s still uncertainty in life.
This either brings up a whole lot of fear and anxiety, or it brings up this spectacular sense on wonderment.
Whichever way you feel, you choose, and you can always choose again.
Now although life itself is uncertain, there is ONE thing you can always be %100 certain of, and in this week’s Soul Workout below, I share with you what that one thing is, and how you can use it to find peace among all life’s uncertainties.
Check it out:
Even though everything in my outer world is shifting and changing, I’m more excited than ever. I’m certain that I’m loved and guided. And so are you.
The best part about uncertainty is that you can’t set expectations. And as we talked about a few weeks ago, expectations are the mother of judgement and disappointment. For example, if I’m not trying to create some sense of security in my life by expecting you to be home at a certain time, then I won’t get disappointed when you’re late.
Uncertainty equals freedom.
Now isn’t that a powerful shift in perception…
It’s time be embrace the fact the nothing is certain, and use that as a way to free ourselves from the confines of our own plan for how things should go and people should act in order for us to feel secure. Use it as motivation to connect with your Soul.
This statement always puts a smile on my face (click to tweet):
Peace and infinite wonderment,
