I’ve been asking myself some deep questions lately. I’ll just be walking down the street, or at work, and people usually think I’ve “zoned out” but I prefer to think of it as “zoning in”.
It might look like my brain is empty, but I’m actually deep in contemplation about the meaning of life and why we’re all here on this crazy planet called Earth. :)
What existed before the big bang? How did consciousness evolve? How does our ability to feel fit into the theory of evolution?
These thoughts could be in my mind because I just finished reading a book by the Dalai Lama called The Universe In A Single Atom: The Convergence of Science and Spirituality. I’m going to hear him speak LIVE in October so I’m just getting prepared ;)
I’m also fascinated by quantum mechanics – my second favorite class I took in college (astronomy was first!).
I love these topics because they remind me how much we’re still so uncertain about and that our understanding of this world is constantly evolving.
And so it’s okay to feel unsure in your life sometimes. After all, we’re swirling in an expanding universe of uncertainty.
Don’t wait until you feel 100% certain before you take action and make decisions. You probably will never be 100% certain – sometimes you just have to jump in and try it out.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments below! How will you take action?
With love from the mountains,
