Well hello there! I hope you’re having a pumpkin filled start to your Fall. This is my absolute favorite time of year. Although I do live in Utah right now, I grew up in Connecticut, so my expectations for Fall foliage are very high.
While Utah Fall is pretty, it aint no match for New England. Needless to say, I’m very excited to be heading back to Connecticut for a wedding in a couple weeks.
I’ve only visited Connecticut once since I moved “out west” about five years ago, so this trip is long overdo. Not only that, but one of my earliest childhood friends is getting married (what up Sarah!) and I will be trading in my hiking gear for a full length sequined dress.
I’m excited to get a little glammed-up and see the fam and friends before I head off to another country for 2 months (details on that coming soon!)
Hint… it’s yoga related. And speaking of yoga, I’ve got a new video for ya and a little peak into the behind the scenes of filming it.
As you’ve probably seen on my Instagram, I have been adventuring just about every week all Summer. I would come back to Salt Lake City for a few days of work, and then immediately leave again to go exploring.
That didn’t leave much time for video editing. This week I stayed put so I could catch up on some writing and editing.
Here’s the most recent yoga video I uploaded – 20 Minute Relaxing Yoga Class (click to watch on YouTube). My intention for this video was for it to help you unwind from the day.
It’s an especially great class if you’ve been sitting at a desk all day. You could also do this one first thing in the morning as a way to wake up and salute the day!
After you practice, check in with me on Instagram and YouTube. I love your feedback (the good and the constructive).
Lastly, I posted a new kind of video yesterday about one of my recent road trips through Colorado. During this 10-day road trip, I tried to film what was going on, not really sure if I was going to use any of the footage. Well, I finally sifted through the digital heap of video and decided to make it into a video for you!
It was a lot of fun and I think I will continue doing it. Why not, right?
The reason I put these two videos together in a post is because you can see/hear me talk about filming the above yoga video in the road trip video below. It’s neat to see how it went from an idea to an actual video.
If you’ve read this far into the post, I want you to know I appreciate you. Thanks for reading/watching. Making videos is a true joy and I just love sharing all the incredible places I find.
If you have any questions or comments, hit me up below. I love hearing from you. Catch ya on Instagram!
See you out there, xo
